New Regular Service at St. Michael’s.

2.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month: This is my story; This is my song. Worship, prayer and tea especially for the over 65s and those who care for them. See Church Activities.

Early morning prayer walk between 6.30am
and 7.30am

Prayers held every Friday morning, meeting at the Day Centre entrance. No Early Morning prayer walk on Friday 27 October.


Sacred Space

The Church is open for quiet contemplation on the first Wednesday of every month.


Study Courses

There are occasional introductory courses for people who would like to find out more about the Christian faith.

This year’s Lent course will take place at St. Michael’s Vicarage and last for six weeks commencing Wednesday, 21st February. 7.30pm – 9.30pm with a light refreshment of soup and a roll provided. Participants welcome to bring fruit, cake or similar.


Confirmation Courses

Courses are held every year for anyone who wishes to be confirmed in the Church of England. (This can include baptism for anyone not previously baptised). Please contact the Vicar at to learn more.


Pilgrimages and Retreats

In recent years, groups from the Church have visited Caldy Island, Iona, Rome and various retreats in the South of England.
